Micro Specialties' MicroMet remote data modem offers complete, low power solutions to data collection and control applications in remote and harsh environments. Communications options include meteor burst, VHF/UHF, cellular and digital spread spectrum.
In the Alaska Meteor Burst Communication System (AMBCS), MicroMet MBTU10X data modems provide the data transport for nearly all remote data sites. Virtually any environmental sensor may be managed directly with a Campbell Scientific CR10X data collector. Sensor data is then automatically relayed by the MicroMet data modem to a central site, where the sensor data reports are archived and/or distributed to individual agency databases.
